This is one of my favorite recipes to make when its cold out. Its so simple and last for days! I make a huge batch and always freeze some as well. I like alot of spice so please adjust spices accordingly if spicy isn't for you :)

SPICY TURKEY CHILI
Ingredients:
- 2-3 pkgs of lean ground turkey
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 an onion, finely chopped
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 finely chopped jalapeno (you could use a few tbsp of ground chili flakes instead)
- 1 can dark red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 can of pinto beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 can of black beans, drained and rinsed
- 2 cans of crushed tomatoes
- 2-5 tbsp of chili powder (adjust according to how much spice you want)
- 1 tbsp cumin
- 1-2 tbsp of cayenne pepper
- 1 tbsp of garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Add olive oil to a large pot and brown the garlic and onions
- Add ground turkey and cook thoroughly stirring frequently
- Combine all spices in a bowl then add to the cooked turkey
- Stir in 2 cans of crushed tomatoes, chopped peppers and beans
- Simmer on medium-low heat for 30-45mins (make surelid is slightly vented to let steam out)
