PB & J Valentines Protein Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup of All Natural Peanut Butter
- 1 large Egg
- 1 large Egg White
- 1 tbsp Unsweetened Apple Sauce
- 1 oz water
- Add Truvia or your favorite sweetener to taste
- 1 scoop of Vanilla Protein Powder
- 1 cup Ground Oats
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/3 cup sugar free raspberry jam (stirred to loosen)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Microwave 1 cup of PB for 30 seconds, which will make it easier to mix. In a medium bowl mix PB with 1 Egg, 1 Egg White and 1 tbsp unsweetened apple sauce, 1 oz water and 1 tbsp vanilla extract.
- Add Vanilla Protein powder, Oats, Truvia and Baking Soda and mix well
- Roll dough into 1 1/2-inch balls (about 2 tablespoons each). Arrange on parchment-lined baking sheets. Press into 1 3/4-inch rounds. Press hearts into centers using your fingertips.
- Fill indentation of each with a generous 1/2 teaspoon of sugar free jam to form a heart.
- Bake for 10 mins
