Being active has been an important part of Michaela's life ever since she started competing in 5 & 10km races at the age of 9. After high school she started going into the gym where she fell in love with the process of getting stronger. Michaela then realized she had a passion for teaching fitness and obtained her Fitness Trainer Diploma from Mount Royal University. 


Michaela is a strong advocate for the health benefits that exercising has. Physical activity isn’t just for aesthetics, it also decreases your risk for disease, increases longevity, and does wonders for your mental health.
